15 month check up

Cameron had her 15 month check up last Friday. Unbeknown to me, she had ear infections in both ears, poor thing! The only sign I got from her was that same morning, she woke up earlier than normal and just wanted to sit on my lap. She is not a cuddler at all so I should have known right then that something was wrong! After the check up and other shots she had a good long nap and has seemed fine ever since. Of course she is on antibiotics, but I am amazed at how she doesn't seem affected at all.

Height 32 1/4" (98%)
Weight 22.9 lbs (50%)

We are preparing for our first vacation without her too! We will miss her a lot but she will be staying with a few of her grandmas for the week so we aren't going to be worried. We're renting a house on Kauai with some friends so we are looking forward to it. It will be our second time there so hopefully we can relax a little more and not spend all our time driving around to see everything.

New boots and pigtails!

Cameron finally let me put pigtails in her hair today for the first time. Well, it's the first time that I won the battle anyway. The key was to let her brush her teeth while I did her hair. She LOVES to brush her teeth. I think she just likes to suck the bubble gum toothpaste out of the toothbrush mostly. She still hated the hair brushing but it was worth it for the toothpaste I guess.

The other pics are us and of her new boots. I think between Lauren and I, Cameron got a total of 5 pairs of new shoes this weekend. She's outdoing her mommy in shoe purchases and we can't have that now, can we!? I'll have to remind Brian that I just got rid of a bunch of shoes, so I'm allowed to buy new ones now! Oh, in that last one, she just jacked Molly's bone from her too. That's a ritual the two of them have. Cameron steals it and throws it down, then Molly retrieves it and tries to gnaw on it before it gets stolen again.
