Happy New Year!

We had a nice Christmas and got to see most of our family. Sadly, Brian's aunt Judy passed away before Christmas and we weren't able to make it to her service, partly due to the blizzard in Denver where she lived.

Cameron is trying to grab at things now and put them in her mouth, and really wants to sit up on her own. She is constantly pulling her head up when ever she's semi-reclined and is always squirming and kicking. She has discovered her hands and shoves them so far into her mouth that she gags herself. We tried out her jumper today for the first time and although she's a little small for it, I stuffed a blanket around her and it worked out pretty well. She has been busy talking to the toys for the last 15 minutes now.

11 weeks

Here we are vacuuming together...Cameron loves her Kozy carrier, but only if she can face out and see what's going on. She does have legs, they are just tucked inside! I was thrilled when Brian took the picture but it's pretty funny I must admit.

Christmas is in how many days?

We have seriously fallen behind in pictures and Christmas shopping. I still have nothing purchased for Christmas yet and I have no new pictures of Cameron either. She is doing great and slept through the night for the first time last night (9pm-6am). She is 11 weeks old (on 12/22), weighs about 12 lbs, and is around 24". She's a tall skinny one (except for those cheeks)! She's STILL wearing newborn sized clothes and some of the smaller 3 mo outfits although her arms and legs are a little long for them. I guess she might as well get used to that now since it looks like she takes after me on that one. She's got so many cute things that we're just waiting for her to grow into. Brian and I also celebrated 10 years since we started dating back in high school. It sounds like such a long time but looking back, the time has really flown by.

Is it Christmas already?!

The time has really flown by since Cameron arrived. We can't believe it's Christmas already! We barely got our tree up this weekend and have done zero Christmas shopping. The box of lights for the house hasn't even made it out of the closet and it might not at all this year.

2 months!

Cameron had her 2 month check up on Friday and got her first vaccinations. She weighed 10 lbs 5 oz and was 23" long. She's in the 50th percentile for weight and 75th percentile for length. And thank goodness for this swing. She loves it!
