Teeth

Cameron has quite a set of chompers coming in right now. She has her two top and two bottom teeth and uses them whenever she can. Hopefully the big gap between the top ones will grow together!

Her fascination with banging on the stairs has passed and now she's climbing up them so I guess we'll be putting up the baby gate soon. She also chases the dogs around the house in her walker now. She reminds me of Austin Powers when she gets stuck sideways in the hall. She just bangs in to the walls until she gets turned around.

She's also found a funny way of letting us know when she wants some of our food or a drink of what we have. She looks at us and smacks her lips together like a fish. At least she doesn't yell...yet.

8 months

Cameron turned 8 months old on 6/6. She's crawling all over, pulling up on furniture and trying to walk. She's taken a few steps in between us and is getting pretty good at walking holding one hand.

For Mother's Day, Brian arranged to have family pictures done by the same photographer that did our wedding. We just got them back and she put together a really nice slideshow of some of the best shots.

Good Morning

Here's what I walk in to find at 6:30 every morning now...














We have since lowered the mattress so she's not teetering on the edge any more!

Believe it or not, Molly, our neurotic dog is actually really good with Cameron. No, she is not trying to bite her in these pictures :-)

Famous Baby

For some reason I decided to put Cameron's picture in a gallery hosted by AZCentral.com (the AZ Republic newspaper's site) a few days ago. I don't know what made me do it but it was late one night and I was looking at the other baby pictures that parents had put up there and I thought I had a cute one of her to share too. So, yesterday I get a text message from my friend that says Cameron's picture is on AZCentral.com. I didn't think much of it because I knew I put in the gallery there. Well, last night, I went to the main page and there was her little dimpled face smiling at me! Pretty funny! It might be there for a day or two, not sure.

First Swim

Since it is already 105 degrees, we decided to take our first swim of the year. The pool was pretty warm, probably around 80 degrees. Molly got so excited that she fell in. Good thing she can swim because I don't think I could get a 105lb dog out of the pool.

7 months

Cameron had a checkup today and is 16lbs 2 oz (36%) and 28" (95%). She will be 7 months on 5/6. She has one tooth on the bottom and is very eager to walk. She walks well holding on to our hands but isn't interested in crawling.

Playdate

Cameron and Josh had their second play date and they could actually play this time. It was pretty funny watching the two of them.
