Our Kauai vacation was great despite the downpour of rain that came on Sunday before we left. It rained 7.8" in one day! By comparison, the most that came in any other day was around 2", and mostly was at night/early morning, which is pretty normal I guess.
We had a lot of fun and missed Cameron a lot. She really didn't seem too excited to see us when we came home though. She must have had too much fun with her grandmas while we were gone! We really appreciate all the help everyone gave us while we were gone. Brian's mom had Cameron the first 3 days and my mom had her the last 4 (with a little help from my grandma too!) They both along with my friend Nicole, took turns feeding and taking care of the dogs and both my mom and Brian's mom helped me make rental deliveries and pick-ups too. I think it was poor planning on my part that we happened to be gone over the Superbowl weekend though. I finally gave up trying to coordinate early deliveries and finding people to make them for me and had to give some referrals to another company. They've given me some on my side of town too, so I hope it continues to go both ways.
